AppointmentPlus will no longer offer website hosting service. We are beginning to phase out the service now, and the deprecation will be complete as of August 15, 2015. Your scheduling site’s functionality will not be impacted in any way. The change only affects your business website, and only if we provide its hosting service.

What it means for you
You’ll want to contact a third-party web-hosting service provider within the next couple of weeks to transfer the hosting of your website. Although we will continue to host your site until August 15, we advise that you complete the transfer as soon as possible to ensure uninterrupted service.
- If you already own your site’s domain name, you’ll simply transfer the domain to the new host.
- If you don’t already have a custom site domain, now’s the perfect time to get one. Many website hosting companies can also help you register your domain.
Important note: Once you have your new web address, be sure to update the link to your website that resides within the Customer View of your scheduling site.
You’ll also want to change any other external links that direct traffic to your website. AppointmentPlus will not be offering server-side redirects, so any external links that aren’t updated will appear as broken links once we turn off the hosting function in August.
Why it’s happening
We began offering hosting service to help new subscribers who did not yet have a web presence. At the time, there weren’t many affordable, reputable options available.
Now, there are many excellent web-hosting providers who offer quality hosting service and easy-to-use options for setting up a site. They also offer far more website customization options than we’re able to provide.
Plus, we’re now heavily focused on developing our new user experience. We want to put 100% of our resources toward building the best, most powerful, most user-friendly appointment scheduling software in the world!
