The Canadian Anti-Spam Law (CASL) went into effect on July 1st, 2014. If your business operates in Canada, or you send email communication to Canadian residents, you may be required to comply with the requirements of CASL. Fortunately, a transitional period of three years can be used to ensure your email communication complies with each section of the law.
For more information about CASL requirements, please check the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission website.
