The Appointment information icon () allows other Staff Members to view details about the Appointment that do not display in the Appointment box on the calendar.
How to Enable the Appointment Information Icon
If this icon is not displaying in your account, you can easily turn this on for your Staff Members.
- Click Settings.
- Click Appointments.
- Look for the following option: Show the Appointment Tooltip when hovering over the "i" icon on the appointment grid. This will be either Preference #23 or #30, depending on your Appointment version.
- Click the option for Yes.
- Click Update.
Viewing the Appointment Information
When you return to the Appointment calendar, each Appointment will now display the information icon (). To open it, simply move your mouse cursor and hover over the icon. A pop-up window will appear and display extra information about the Customer and their recent Appointments.
The following fields may show:
- Customer name
- Account (if applicable)
- Day phone
- Evening phone
- Cell phone
- Other field information as saved with the Appointment
- Next 3 appointments
- Last 3 appointments
- Last 3 Notes
- Edit Appointment
Additionally, if the "Enable one-click status change for appointments." setting is enabled, Staff Members will be able to hover over the Status information and choose a different status. This will automatically apply the status change to the Appointment.
NOTE: The fields listed are default fields. If you rename them in the Customer Fields/Terms section, those fields will still show regardless of what you rename them. It is not possible to view additional information in the pop-up window at this time.
