- Email Delivery Reporting - Site Administration
The Reports feature has been updated to offer insight into the delivery status of email notifications. Administrative users with access to Reports will be able to report on notifications sent during a specific timeframe, to a specific recipient, or on behalf of a specific staff member. If there are multiple locations configured within the account, the administrator will be able to filter by specific location to see the results of email delivery attempts.
- Bounce back emails not sent to staff
Notification of unsuccessful email delivery has been updated to process automatically and without the need to configure an additional setting for email notifications. Additionally, the Email Delivery Report will share the status of email attempts including that the address resulted in a 'bounce' or undeliverable message, which may be due in part to the active status of an email address.
- Display Staff Member term in notifications
Email notifications have been updated to utilize the term for Staff Members, as configured in the Terms section of Settings. The configured term will replace the "with" text shown in the appointment details section of email notifications. This change is designed to improve the information sent to customers related to the Staff Member with which the appointment is being held.
- Customers overusing Packages
The application has been updated to improve the packages payment method when scheduling through the Customer View interface. In some cases, customers could book appointments against a package when no further value existed. As of this update, the system will enforce the package value when a package is selected as the method of payment, no matter how quickly a subsequent appointment is booked.
- "Number on Gift Certificate is required." when id entered correctly
The transaction feature of the Point of Sale plugin has been updated to ensure the system will properly check the validity of a gift certificate number when used as a payment method. In some cases, when a gift certificate number was required, the system would display an error after a valid number was entered in to the data field. This has been corrected and the error will not show if a valid gift certificate number is used.
- Update to Email preferences
The settings for the application have been updated to remove an outdated preference for email notifications. Going forward, bounce back messages for undelivered email notifications will be managed by the mail system and tracked through the Email Delivery Report.
- Prenumbered Gift Certificate not showing in search results
The gift certificates functionality has been updated to ensure that searching for a gift certificate number after the certificate is updated will still find and present the gift certificate. In some cases, updated gift certificates were not being properly indexed when the account was set to use prenumbered gift certificates. Going forward, updated gift certificates will be searchable by the number assigned when they were created.
- Event Templates not following sort order
The Events section of the application has been updated to ensure the sort order rules are applied to any event with the same sort order value of another event. The changes to the sort order rules apply when the sort order is either zero ("0") or an integer. Going forward, all numeric values will follow standard sort order rules when duplicated across multiple events.
- 'Same Day Appointment Notice' not taking staff hour notice into account
The appointment booking process has been updated to enforce the advance notice timeframe (when enabled) for same day appointment scheduling. Going forward, the ability to book an appointment when the same day notice is less than the time left in the current day's open hours will be superseded by the staff member's availability.
- Ical attachment not including correct end date for recurring appointments
The application has been updated to send properly configured iCal attachments for appointment confirmations for use in Microsoft Outlook® calendars. When an appointment was set to recur with no end date, users were only having one instance of the recurring series appear in their Outlook calendar. Going forward, users will be able to view and save multiple instances of a recurring appointment series based on the end date of the iCal attachment.
- Resend fails in Gift Certificates
The application has been updated to properly resend a gift certificate email to the intended sender. Going forward, the system will accurately send a 'resend' email to the appropriate individual as configured on the purchased gift certificate.
- Error when selecting days off with existing appointments
The application has been updated to ensure that a staff member may schedule a day off, even if a canceled appointment exists on the same day. In some situations, an appointment was canceled prior to a staff member setting a day off, but the staff member was unable to successfully update the system with that day off. Going forward, appointment with active statuses will be checked to determine if a day off can be set. Canceled appointments will not impact the staff member's availability.
- Unable to export customer vCard to Outlook
The application has been updated to allow administrative users to export a customer's vCard to Microsoft Outlook. In some cases, opening and viewing the vCard from the AppointmentPlus scheduling system would display an error that would prohibit the vCard from being opened. This error has been resolved and vCards will properly open and save to the Outlook contact list.
- Internal Document Upload link shows in sub-locations
The application has been updated to accurately present the settings for an appointment created within a sub-location when the accounts are sharing configuration settings with the headquarters location. In some cases, settings at the headquarters location were not copied and therefore the sub-location was showing the wrong appointment fields. Going forward, the sub-location sharing configuration values will mirror the settings configured at the headquarters.
- Staff Member Summary reports mismatch
The Staff Member Summary Report has been updated to ensure that the export formats present the same information. In some cases, the HTML version of the report was calculating totals that differed from the Excel export format. This has been corrected and all export formats data will match and calculate as expected.
- Gift Certificate not showing expiration date
Gift certificates have been updated to properly include an expiration date. In some situations and interfaces, the expiration date is displayed, however the application will support display of this information correctly regardless of interface (email, web browser). Going forward, customers will receive all appropriate information about their gift certificate regardless of how they view the gift certificate information.
- POS not allowing Gift Certificates in large amounts
Gift Certificate plug-in has been updated to ensure no limit on the amount of money is applied by the system. Going forward, the gift certificates may be configured for any amount by an administrator that has access rights to create and edit gift certificate details.
- Connect-Up for Google Calendar recurring appointments
The Connect-Up for Google Calendar plug-in has been updated to show the Customer's name on appointments in Google® when the appointment is part of a recurring series. Upon the next successful synchronization process, existing appointments on the Google Calendar will be updated to show the customer name for which the series of appointments was created through AppointmentPlus scheduling system.
- Customers unable to pay for Gift Certificates
The application has been updated to resolve an issue with making payments for gift certificates. In some cases, when using the payment processor Merchant Warehouse (Cayan), the process for purchasing a gift certificate could not be completed at the time of payment. Going forward, the system will effectively communicate with this payment processor and successfully complete the transaction based on correct and active credit card information from the customer.
