I had not realized that a new version was out. A few days ago I noticed was that notification emails sent to Customers only had "Dear" in the opening, no name.

I suspected that it was caused by a bug and prepared to send a support ticket. But before doing it I checked the settings menus discovering a new feature was introduced, to allow selecting whether name or last name or both had to be used in the greetings.

Once I updated it (by default both boxes where unchecked, hence no name after "Dear") all notifications behaved correctly.

As I discovered these Release Notes, I found out that HTML features, images and embeddable links are now available for edit. Wonderful! I had really been waiting for it, because all automated notification emails looked so dull in plain text only. Now I am slowing enriching all of them.

    Very good job!

RE: Customers charged for appointments, no appointment created

Still encountering issues, problem still not resolve.  Customer pays and does not receive an appointment.  This has been ongoing is since 2013.  Very frustrating, customers and my business is suffering.

More than 20 appointments this month where customers have paid and have not receive a confirmation.  That's an average of 3 a day.  Unacceptable.

    Hi Kowyang,

I’m sorry to hear you are still experiencing this issue and I completely understand your frustration. I spent some time researching this issue for you today and found a setting that might help. We implemented a new option on March 29th to keep customers from clicking on a timeslot until the page fully loads, unfortunately, there are intermittent high volume situations that will cause the page to slow down.

To help speed up the time it takes for available times to show after clicking a date on the calendar, I recommend using Customer View Preference #33 to only show a single calendar on the Customer View. This should help to improve page loading speed even when a large number of customers are attempting to schedule.

To update this preference, click on the Settings tab, select the “Customer View” link from the preferences list, and then set Preference #33 to 1. You will want to update this preference for each location.

Thanks for patience as we work through this issue.

How do I address this issue when I have a couple coming in tomorrow from out of town for a wedding ceremony and the system didn't generate an appointment and I cannot accommodate due to a full schedule?  This has been occurring for a long time with no resolution.  Support and sales have reach out in the past, but have not offered any resolution.

4 customers charged with no appointments created in 1 day.  This problem is getting worst.
