All Services have a standard schedule. However, you may find that you need to modify the standard schedule for a specific date. You can use Service Exceptions to create an ad-hoc modification to the standard availability.
Service Exceptions are managed for each record in the Services section of your account. An exception can be applied to a Service or an Add-on Service based on how your scheduling system and business operations are set up.
Note: To use exceptions, you will need to update the configuration in your account. We recommend you read our Service Times & Exceptions Overview article for more information. If you have questions about how to set this up, please open a ticket with our Support team.
Why should I use an exception?
You may have a piece of equipment that is needed for a Service. That equipment may require regular or emergency maintenance and, during that time, it is unavailable. By setting up an exception to the standard schedule, you can ensure that Appointments won't be booked at a time that the equipment isn't available.
You can also use an exception to set up a Service to be available after hours or outside of its standard schedule. Maybe your Staff Members are offering the Service at a time that it isn't normally available. You can set up an exception to make it available for Appointments at a separate time without changing the regular schedule.
You can view the regular schedule on the Service Details page.
